Pressed flower lanterns at the Mansion

You are invited to celebrate the arrival of spring while making a pressed flower lantern Saturday, March 21, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Former Governors’ Mansion State Historic Site, 320 E. Ave. B, Bismarck.  A popular Victorian-era pastime, you will attach pressed flowers to a glass jar creating a beautiful lantern to brighten your home and showcase the beauty of nature.  All materials will be provided, and no prior crafting experience is necessary.  All ages are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult.
