Historic Preservation Month at the Mansion

The Former Governors’ Mansion will host a free mini-workshop in honor of Historic Preservation Month.  Wednesday, May 14, Historic Preservation: Wallpaper is at 7 p.m.  Learn about the rich history of wallpaper at the Mansion , which reflects changing tastes from its 1884 construction through 1960.  Original 1884 wallpaper in the parlor was uncovered and preserved, then reproduced and hung as part of the site’s restoration.   The Mansion is at 320 E. Avenue B in Bismarck.
