“Dog Days of Winter”

Everyone is welcome to the “Dog Days of Winter,” at the North Dakota Heritage Center on the Capitol grounds in Bismarck on Sunday, February 16, 2-3:30 p.m.  Dogsledder Jasmyn Hatlestad will share her journey into the world of dogsledding.  Hatlestad will discuss how she got started, the training process, essential gear, race types, and favorite memories—complete with photos.  Weather permitting, attendees will have the opportunity to interact with sled dogs after the presentation.  Now a law enforcement officer, she continues to run her huskies for fun.
