“Little Kids, Big World” programs introduce toddlers and preschoolers to history from 10:30 to 11 a.m. at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum. All children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Gather at the east entrance information desk at the ND Heritage Center & State Museum. For more information, contact Erik Holland at 328-2792.
February 5 will feature “I Spy in Double Ditch.” Participants will investigate the Double Ditch Indian Village hand-painted mural in the museum and have hands-on time with objects depicted in the mural. During “Homes on the Range” on Feb. 12, participants will interact with the State Museum exhibit “House & Home” as they learn about homes in North Dakota throughout history. February 26 will have participants using their imagination in “Eyes on History.” Fun or unusual images from North Dakota’s history will inspire imagination as the staff incorporates calm time studying each image and excited time dancing to music. Programs will be led by Stephanie Schick, a gallery guide at the North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum.
